Yomura has the single most densely connected network at Atlantic Station. More than $5M has already been invested and a further $4.5M will be spent before the end of 2019.

Yomura’s network build at 12 Midtown makes this building one of the most connected properties in Atlanta.

Backhaul – Building

  • 216 count (18 x 12) dark fiber to Yomura’s East and North interconnect points at Atlantic Station.
  • 12 out of 216 fibers are lit, totaling 240Gbps (6 x 40Gbps). Max capacity with existing deployment 10.8Tbps (108 x 100Gbps).

Floor Connectivity

  • 24 count dark fiber per Interconnect floor.
  • 8 out of 24 fibers are lit per floor, totaling 40Gbps (4x10Gbps). Max capacity with existing deployment 120Gbps (12 x 10Gbps) per floor.

Network Contention

  • 100Mbps per unit (390 units) – 39Gbps – no contention on floor or backhaul.
  • 1Gbps per unit (390 units) – 390Gbps – no contention on floor or backhaul.
  • 10Gbps per unit (390 units) 3.9Tbps – minimal upgrades required on floor.

Switching Capacity

  • Max 18.7Tbps with current deployment.

Diversity

  • Diverse fiber from Atlantic Station to Yomura’s transport network.
  • Diverse interconnection from 12Midtown to Yomura’s Atlantic Station network.
  • Microwave backup from roof of 12Midtown (pending install).
